Each major in MAE must complete a certain number of upper-division technical elective units to satisfy graduation requirements.

Aerospace Engineering - 4 units (Updated Spring 2008)
Engineering Science - 16 units (Updated Spring 2008)
Environmental Engineering - 24 units (Updated Spring 2008)
Mechanical Engineering - 12 units (Updated Spring 2008)

These electives are intended to broaden and enhance professional goals. They must be courses that are quantitative in engineering, mathematical, physical or biological sciences.
